Training Video and Infographic
Designed for the mini eLearning course "How to Conduct Medication Consultations”
Training Video
This training video features an example consultation presented by a fictitious Dr. Jeff. The goal of this video is for new pharmacists to see how consultations play out in the real world, and familiarizes learners with the consultation process and the language used to communicate information to patients.
I collaborated with the SME, a licensed retail pharmacist, to craft the script. I recorded the SME from beginning to end what would typically be said to a patient receiving the medicine Atorvastatin. After I transcribed the voice recording, I imported it into Vyond, and used the built-in voice generator to narrate the sequence. This project offers a glimpse into my video production skills.
Checklist
This infographic was designed using Canva. It summarizes all the key points pharmacists need to cover to comply with the California Code of Regulations, Section 1707.2.
The checklist is available for download once learners reach the end of the training module. Pharmacists may refer to this checklist to ensure patients are receiving all the necessary information to administer their drug therapy safely.
